THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO Based on Stieg Larsson’s hit novel, this film is centered around Lisbeth Salander a college freshman struggling to find herself. A riveting tale of self discovery, we watch as Lisbeth changes herself fit in with the cool crowd only to discover she is unhappy around the people whose approval she so desperately urned for. Lisbeth becomes resentful of the person she has become and the things she did to get friends, there a long scene where she gets drunk then gets a dragon tattoo and multiple piercings while her “friends” are watching. A close relationship with her one of her professors pulls her through this tough time and she comes out with a better sense of self, very rewarding graduation scene to end the film.

“Oil Spill!” release date: TBD Open to montage of news reporters talking about a massive oil spill off the Gulf coast as it continues to leak into the ocean. Already in its third month, this record breaking spill has been garnering much negative attention for the company responsible, PP. Cut to PP CEO’s talking over beers in a darkly lit room. It’s a Monday night and its pouring rain out which can only be heard softly from inside. Through their rather vague comments to each other it is apparent that every possible option to stop the leak has failed miserably. During this meeting they receive news, via gchat messaging with Michael Moore, that White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel secretly engineered the failure of the E-plan in an effort to take heat away from a scandal concerning an up and coming Chicago politician. Desperate and left with no choice PP brings in Emanuel’s most legendary rival, Earnest… We follow this Earnest character through his many, often times hilarious attempts to stop the oil spill and save the baby dolphins. The union soldiers are not played by people, but by the cast of March of the Pengiuns. So its kind of also like march of the penguin’s but with fire, romance, and war.
